Star Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland has been bought by Delhi Capitals in big amount of INR 2 crores during the ongoing Women’s Premier League Auction for the upcoming WPL 2024. Last year, she was associated with the Gujarat Giants Women in the Women’s Premier League 2023.

However, she couldn’t impress much with her performances, scalping only 3 wickets with the ball and scoring 28 runs in 4 matches with the bat. But still, Delhi Capitals came up with a big bid for the young Aussie all-rounder to add her to their squad for the upcoming Women’s Premier League 2024.

Speaking of Annabel’s international career in Australian colors, she has played 23 ODIs and 22 T20Is, scoring 342 ODI runs and 97 T20I runs, with averages of 42.75 and 12.12. She has also smashed a century and half-century in the ODIs. Apart from this, she has also scalped 22 ODI wickets and 10 T20I wickets with the ball, while playing for Australia.

She could be one of the star performers owing to her current all-round form in the recently concluded Women’s Big Bash League 2023 while playing for the Melbourne Stars.
