The Max60 Caribbean 2025 has already begun on 16 July and will run until 24 July. A total of 31 matches will be played at the Jimmy Powell Stadium in the Cayman Islands. This is the second edition of the competition, and this time, six Indian players are participating.
Seven teams are taking part in the tournament: Miami Blaze, Florida Lions, Cayman Bay Stingrays, Caribbean Tigers, Boca Raton Trailblazers, Grand Cayman Falcons, and Vegas Vikings.
Among them, the Vegas Vikings have the highest number of Indian players in their squad, featuring Ali Murtaza, Ankit Rajpoot, Shahbaz Nadeem, and Suboth Bhati. The Grand Cayman Falcons include Rishi Dhawan, while the Miami Blaze have Shreevats Goswami in their ranks. Notably, the other four teams do not have any Indian players.
Apart from them, several top retired international stars will also be in action, including Martin Guptill, Dawid Malan, Josh Brown, Kyle Mayers, Isuru Udana, Shakib Al Hasan, Thisara Perera, Carlos Brathwaite and Mohammad Nabi. In addition, many talented local players from across the Caribbean and the USA will get a chance to showcase their potential on a global stage.
“At MAX60, we believe the future of cricket lies in bold formats and bold opportunities. Giving young players meaningful match experience against world-class talent is not just part of our mission — it’s at the heart of it,” said the league's marketing and brand manager, Lewis Murphy.
