Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has stated that the former Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, will definitely play the ICC ODI World Cup 2027, scheduled to be played in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Kaif asserted that Team India needs an experienced opener like Rohit Sharma in the team before heading to the ICC mega event, adding that the Indian team can’t go to the World Cup with a young and inexperienced team.

Additionally, he reckoned that experience of Kohli & Rohit would play a crucial role in crunch situations in the mega event.
