WATCH: Mohammed Shami saves life of unknown person while travelling to Nainital

Mohammed Shamihas always been a saviour whether on the field for India or off the field. He was also at Nainital during the tragedy. He revealed that the individual's car had collided with Shami's vehicle downward.

Mohammed Shami who has been the terror for the opposition batters has saved a person’s life while he was travelling to Nainital. Shami has been in sensational form in the ODI World Cup 2023. He is the leading wicket-taker for India in the ODI World Cup history with 55 wickets beside his name and also was the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 24 wickets in 7 games. 

Shami took to social media late Saturday night to share a video of a person in an accident. He claimed that he and others in the vehicle got the man out of the car before it began to roll downhill, averting a serious tragedy. He has always been a saviour whether on the field for India or off the field. 

He was also at Nainital during the tragedy. He revealed that the individual's car had collided with Shami's vehicle downward. The pacer came in time to save the person's life. The unknown person was thankful enough to the India team pacer.

He captioned the posting on Instagram, "He's so lucky god gave him 2nd life. His car fall down from the hill road near Nanital just in front of my car. We took him out very safely."

Meanwhile, In a recent interview, he stated, "I like travelling, fishing. I like driving a lot. I like driving bike and cars. But after playing for India, I have stopped driving bikes. What if I get injured? I drive bike on highways, may be sometimes in village when I go to meet my mom."

"Zameen se hi aaya hu. Kheto ki jo booghi hoti hai, I have driven tractor, bus, trucks. I have driven bus in truck. One of my school friends had a truck in his house. He told me to drive. I was small then and was driving on a ground. I drove our tractor into the pond too. My father scolded me."

The Men in Blue after losing the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 against Australia. Now they are currently playing the same opposition in a 5-match T20I series.
