Pakistan, led by Agha Salman, is entering the forthcoming Asia Cup 2025 campaign on the back of a T20I tri-series title win over Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates by a huge 75-run margin.
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Oman and UAE are the eight teams competing teams in the Asia Cup 2025 competition. While India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman are in Group A, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong are part of Group B.
In a video shared by a Pakistan cricket handle on the social media platform Facebook, the Pakistan players seem to be pretty optimistic during the team photoshoot. Players like Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi and Agha Salman have their shared their respective messages, sending a strong warning to the opposition teams.
"Har muqable ko apna bana le,” Hasan Ali said.
“Hum aaye hain tarikh badalne,” Shaheen Afridi said.
“Men In Green will not back down because there is more than glory at stake,” Agha Salman said in the video.

Pakistan is coming into the Asia Cup 2025 campaign on the back of two consecutive T20I series win. Initially, they defeated West Indies away from home by 2-1 in the three-match series. Later, they went past Afghanistan and UAE in the T20I tri-series to lift the title.
The much-awaited India vs Pakistan group stage game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 14 in Dubai.
