Pakistan vs South Africa Test Series 2025: Full schedule, timings, squads and live streaming details

The Pakistan-South Africa 2025 series will have two Tests, three T20 Internationals, and as many One-Day Internationals spread over three venues. 

After a long gap from international cricket, the South African national cricket team will play an all-format series against the Pakistan national cricket team in Tests, Twenty20 Internationals, and One-Day Internationals from October 12 to November 8. 

The eight matches between Pakistan and South Africa will be contested at three different venues: Gaddafi Stadium, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and Iqbal Stadium, with an ODI taking place in Faisalabad for the first time since 2008.

Pakistan vs South Africa Test Series 2025: Full Schedule and Timings

Pakistan and South Africa will both kick off their World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycles while also preparing for the T20 World Cup 2026. The ODIs, meanwhile, will help them build towards the Cricket World Cup 2027.

The Test series includes two matches, while there will be three T20Is and three ODIs. So, both teams will play eight matches in total. 

Following the first Test in Lahore, both teams will head to Rawalpindi for the second Test, which begins October 20. Rawalpindi will also host the inaugural Twenty20 International on October 28. Pakistan and South Africa will return to Lahore for the next two T20Is, which are planned for October 31 and November 1.

Following that, both teams will play one-day internationals, the first of which is slated for November 4 in Faisalabad. The second one-dayer will be held on November 6, followed by the final ODI on November 8.

Pakistan vs South Africa Test Series 2025: Squads of both teams

Pakistan has revealed a solid Test squad.  Shan Masood, who was recently demoted from the central contracts, continues to lead them. The hosts have strengthened their spin attack by bringing in uncapped players Asif Afridi and Faisal Akram.  They will serve as backups for Abrar Ahmed, Noman Ali, and Sajid Khan.
