Islamabad United (IU), the defending champions of Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) will be eager to start strong in their defense of the PSL title. On Friday, February 28, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the schedule for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League, or PSL 2025, which is scheduled to take place from April 11 to May 18.
The PCB's six-team T20 league, which includes the four PSL 2025 playoff games, will consist of 34 games. Thirteen matches, including two elimination rounds and the championship match, will be played at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium as part of the competition, which will take place in four different venues.
The curtain-raiser between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time champions Lahore Qalandars will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which will host 11 games in total, including the qualifier. The National Bank Stadium in Karachi and Multan Cricket Stadium will host five matches each.
Multan Cricket Stadium will host five of the Multan Sultans' home games. The Gaddafi Stadium will host the Quetta Gladiators' five home games, while the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host the Peshawar Zalmi's five games.
The main tournament will feature three doubleheaders, two-weekend games (Saturday), and one national holiday game (May 1, Labor Day).
Islamabad United full schedule for PSL 2025:
At the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Islamabad United will play two-time champions Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 season curtain-raiser on April 11 to start defending their PSL championship.
The team led by Shadab Khan will next play Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans at home in Rawalpindi on April 14 and 16, respectively, before making their first away trip to Karachi on April 20 to play Karachi Kings at the National Stadium.
Later in April, Islamabad United (IU) will go to Multan to play the Multan Sultans, who were recently ranked third, at the Multan Cricket Stadium. In the rematch, they will also play the Lahore Qalandars at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Islamabad United will prolong their stay in Lahore at the beginning of May, playing Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi in back-to-back days before heading home to play their final two games against the Gladiators and Karachi Kings.
