Reports: Yuzvendra Chahal and Shreyas Iyer to join Bigg Boss 18 amid personal challenges

Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal is steadily gaining notoriety owing, in part, to some very strange circumstances surrounding the well-known leg-spinner. Chahal married a YouTube star, choreographer, and dentist by the name of Dhanashree Verma in December 2020. 

Rumors about his relationship were ignited when pictures of Chahal's wife were reportedly deleted from his social media. Interestingly enough, according to sources, Dhanashree still has images of the couple displayed on her profile, leaving fans bewildered and curious.

A new chapter for the cricketers 

Adding more intrigue to the story is the suggestion that Chahal may eventually become a contestant on Bigg Boss 18. He will share the platform with cricketer Shreyas Iyer and IPL player Shashank Singh. All three will be in the Punjab Kings squad for the next IPL season, so if they join Bigg Boss, that would make for a very good cricket-entertainment crossover.

In all of this, Dhanashree finally broke her silence on the social media platform, talking about all the scenarios surrounding them and how they were affecting her and her family. In one emotional Instagram story, she revealed the awful things they had weathered because of the rumors. 

"These have been the worst days of our lives. What hurts the most is the baseless writing and character assassination by faceless trolls, spreading hate," she said. 

Even with the rest of the world berating her, Dhanashree chose to remain true to herself and stated, "I'm deciding to listen to myself and walk forward, holding my values."

Some posts he made were reflective rather than direct. Chahal quoted Socrates on one post stating that "Silence is a deep music to those who can hear it above all the noise." Other posts discussed a lot of hard work and efforts, in a plethora of different ways.

Whatever be the case-Will Chahal join Bigg Boss, or not-The way he got started is certainly something fans would be able to enjoy watching both on and off-field. This rumored first for Chahal will definitely bring viewers into some slice of his life as he goes through the fires and flood of personal and professional challenges.
