RJ Mahvash’s Cryptic Post adding fuel amid Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree Verma Divorce

Yuzvendra Chahal is preparing for IPL 2025, where he will represent Punjab Kings (PBKS). The leg-spinner will aim to continue his dominance in the tournament. However, off the field, his personal life has been making headlines. Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, were seen at their divorce proceedings yesterday. 

He is set to pay Dhanashree ₹4.75 crore in alimony. The couple had tied the knot in a private ceremony in Gurgaon on December 22, 2020. Amid these developments, radio jockey Mahvash grabbed attention with a cryptic post on Instagram. 

The post featured several photos of her wearing a white dress with a sheer red heart overlay, cinched at the waist with a black belt. The original caption read: “Jhut, lalach, aur fareb se parey hain..khuda ka shukr ainey aaj bhi khade hain... (Far from lies, greed, and deceit... Thank God, we are still standing today, looking in the mirror).” 

Later, the caption was edited to read: "Painting the town red." However, the post currently has no caption. Fans have shared witty comments linking it to Chahal. Speculation about Mahvash and Chahal started last year when she posted a photo of them having lunch together. The Instagram caption read: "Christmas lunch con familia! (Christmas lunch with family!)." 

Mahvash has previously denied any link-up with Chahal

The 34-year-old spinner was in that photo, sparking rumours about their relationship. Recently, during the Champions Trophy final in Dubai, Mahvash was spotted sitting beside Chahal in the stands. She was seen celebrating as India defeated New Zealand to win the trophy.

Despite the rumours, Mahvash has previously denied any link-up with Chahal. She strongly dismissed the speculations, calling them baseless. She pointed out that if two people of the opposite gender are seen together, it does not mean they are dating. "What year is this?" she asked, questioning the assumptions. 

She also made it clear that she would not allow PR teams to use her to cover up someone else’s image. Chahal has not commented on these rumours. As he gears up for IPL 2025, his focus will likely remain on the tournament. However, with his personal life in the spotlight, fans continue to speculate about the situation.
