Sachin Tendulkar confirms son Arjun’s engagement; reveals his advice to Sara for her business venture

According to cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, his son Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandok are formally engaged. Following in his father's athletic footsteps, Arjun and Saaniya held a private engagement ceremony that was only attended by close friends and family.

Saaniya Chandok hails from a prominent Mumbai business family and wants to keep a low profile in public.

She is the granddaughter of renowned businessman Ravi Ghai, whose family has a significant involvement in the culinary and hospitality sectors, owning the well-known ice cream company Brooklyn Creamery and the InterContinental hotel.

During an August 25 Reddit "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) session, Tendulkar announced Arjun's engagement. Sachin was thrilled about this new phase in his son's life.

Replying to the fan, Tendulkar said, “Yes, he did, and we are all very excited for the new phase in his life.”

Tendulkar recently celebrated the opening of his daughter Sara's own Pilates school in Andheri, Mumbai, and expressed his pride in her entrepreneurial career. The low-impact Pilates exercise program has a strong emphasis on posture, flexibility, core strength, and regulated breathing.

Reformers, mats, and resistance equipment are common at studios like Sara's, where knowledgeable instructors lead students through exercises intended to improve general body balance and wellness.

Tendulkar commended Sara's vision and effort, emphasizing how her persistence and dedication enabled the business.

During a Reddit Ask Me Anything session, a fan congratulated him on his daughter’s success and asked what guidance he offers his children.

“Congratulations on your daughter Sara’s venture. What advice did you give your kids while they grew up?” the fan asked.

Replying to the fan, Tendulkar said that one must “trust the process, and results always follow the action.” He stressed that encouraging children to chase their dreams is crucial, as it transforms aspirations into reality.

“I have always believed that you must chase your dreams because that’s how they become a reality. I followed it and told the same to both my children. Like in cricket and in life, you have to trust the process, and results always follow the action,” Tendulkar said.
