Shreyas Iyer's IPL salary from 2015 to 2025 (Updated list)

Shreyas Iyer has been one of the very few captains who got to win the IPL title for their team. He is riding high on the success and demand, as he comes, winning the last edition of this tournament. 

Having played 116 matches in his IPL career, he has scored 3127 runs with the strike rate of 127.48. He has hit 21 half-centuries till now, which includes 113 sixes and 271 boundaries. In 2024 alone, he amassed 351 runs in 14 matches with an impressive strike rate of 146.86.

Shreyas Iyer made his debut in the year 2015, where Delhi Daredevils picked him up for Rs. 2.6 crores, and he proved them back for his selection by hitting 436 runs in his maiden season, thereby winning the IPL Emerging Player of the Year award. 

He became their Mr. Dependable for the next six seasons, and led the team from 2018 to 2020. He scored 400+ runs in four seasons out of the six.

Kolkata Knight Riders purchased him in 2022 at Rs. 12.25 crores, when they were looking for a skipper to lead their team. And he proved his mettle, and took KKR to their third title win in 2024. 

Despite having a successful season, he was released by the KKR due to some differences with the management. This year, he was bought by the Punjab Kings, who spent a whopping amount of Rs. 26.75 crores on him. He has been a shining player all the way, getting money rained on him season after season, rightfully.
