South Africa’s ODI & T20I squads for India tour announced

Cricket South Africa has revealed the ODI and T20I squads for their forthcoming limited-overs series against India. While the three-match ODI series will commence on Sunday, November 30, the five-match T20I series will start on Tuesday, December 9.

While Temba Bavuma will lead the ODI squad, Aiden Markram has been named as the T20I captain. While the first ODI will be played in Ranchi, the second and third games will be played in Raipur and Visakhapatnam, respectively.

While Dewald Brevis and Keshav Maharaj are making their return to the ODI side, Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Donovan Ferreira failed to make it to the squad. Rubin Hermann, who was part of the ODI series against Pakistan, has also been included. 

Speaking about the T20I squad, Anrich Nortje has been back in the squad, and he will be returning to action for the first time since the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final against India. Also, David Miller and Kwena Maphaka have been recalled.

The T20I series will commence in Cuttack. Later, the action shifts to New Chandigarh and Dharamsala. The fourth and fifth T20Is will be played in Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
