Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s epic reply to Ubaid Shah during the India A vs Pakistan Shaheens clash in the ongoing Asia Cup Rising Stars in Doha on November 16, 2025, went viral. India A suffered a heavy eight-wicket loss against the Shaheens, but this viral moment created a lot of buzz among fans.
After being asked to bat first, Vaibhav Suryavanshi walked out to open with Priyansh Arya for India A. They had a solid start, mostly because of Suryavanshi, but during the third over, Shaheens’ pacer Ubaid Shah bowled a delivery that Vaibhav could not time well.
The ball went straight to the fielder at cover after a bounce. Right after that, Ubaid was seen saying something to the 14-year-old. Vaibhav immediately came up with a fiery reply. On the stump mic, Vaibhav was heard saying: "Ball Dalna, Ja Ball Daal (Just Bowl, Go and Bowl),"
On the very next ball, the India A opener played an outrageous shot over covers and even held the pose for a moment, leaving fans excited. However, despite the early spark, it turned out to be a disappointing outing for India A.
India A will face Oman on November 18 in a must-win clash
Suryavanshi scored 45 off 28 balls, while Naman Dhir added 35 off 20, but India A could only reach 136 in 19 overs. Despite a good start, they suffered a mini-collapse in the middle order, getting rattled completely.
In reply, Pakistan Shaheens’ batters took apart the Indian attack and chased down the target with eight wickets and 40 balls to spare. Maaz Sadaqat was named the Player of the Match for his all-round show. With the ball, he picked up two wickets and followed it with a blistering, unbeaten 79 off 47 balls, striking at 168.08.
With this massive win, Pakistan Shaheens sealed their spot in the semi-finals. For India A, expectations were high, especially after their strong outing against the UAE. But with one win and one loss now, their next match against Oman has become a must-win clash to qualify for the semi-finals. The winner of that match on November 18 will become the second team from Group B to enter the semis.
