Veteran Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan has been in the headlines for the last couple of days for different reasons. Recently, the people talked a lot about and also extended their sympathies to Shikhar Dhawan when they came to know he faced hardships in his marriage with her ex-wife. However, Dhawan was allowed by the court to take divorce from her wife on the grounds of cruelty.

Meanwhile, Dhawan attracted the eyeballs once again for one of his antics while making an entry in a cricket show on a TV news channel. The show was about the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. Dhawan left everyone in shock with his entry on the stage as he made his first appearance, wearing the famous bandage that the star Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan wore in the Jawan movie.

The video of this moment of Shikhar Dhawan’s entry is now making rounds on social media attracting a lot of different reactions from the fans.

Talking about cricket, Dhawan hasn’t been successful in making it to the squad of Team India as the management started investing in young batters, including the likes of Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan for most of the series and tournaments. He made his last ODI appearance almost 10 months back in the Chattogram fixture between India and Bangladesh on December 10, 2022.

The 37-year-old has scored 6793 runs in 164 innings of the 167 ODIs, he played so far in his 13-year-long international career. He has scored these runs with a very good average of 44.11, including 17 centuries and 39 half-centuries with the bat. Apart from that, the Delhi star has also represented India in 34 Tests, scoring 2315 runs with an average of 40.61, hitting 7 centuries and 5 half-centuries.

Interestingly, Dhawan was one of the prime highlights in Indian cricket when he made his Test debut 10 years back in 2013 with an amazing knock of 187 runs against Australia in the Mohali Test.
