Team India head coach Rahul Dravid and former skipper Virat Kohli attracted the eyeballs for doing something unique during the net-practice session of the Indian team before the start of the first Test against South Africa. Dravid-Kohli duo was seen bowling during the practice session of the team before the start of the match.

Notably, Both Kohli and Dravid are known for their brilliant batting excellence at the highest level of the game. Rahul Dravid is still on the list of the leading run-scorer for India both in the ODIs and Tests even after more than 12 years of his retirement from international cricket.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli is currently among the modern-day batting greats; he recently surpassed the former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI centuries (49) by scoring his 50th ODI century against New Zealand in the semi-final of the ODI World Cup 2023.

Speaking of the action of the ongoing first Test of the two-match series between South Africa and India; Rohit Sharma's men are currently struggling as they have lost 3 wickets just at the score of 42 runs in 14.1 overs, having Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer there in the middle at the individual scores of 7 and 9 runs, respectively.

Young debutant Nandre Burger has scalped 2 wickets for South Africa so far, alongside one wicket picked by Kagiso Rabada.
