“Inspiration for generations to come” - Virat Kohli lauds Indian women’s team on winning World Cup

On Sunday, November 2, wishes poured in for the Indian Women’s team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, as they defeated Laura Wolvaardt’s South African Women’s team by 52 runs in the grand finale of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 in Navi Mumbai.

While the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli led the wishes for the Indian women’s team, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, and many other former cricketers also joined the queue to hail the Indian women’s team.
