A video from a BBL 2023-24 match between the Melbourne Renegades and Hobart Hurricanes attracted the eyeballs of cricket fans. In this video, the India-born Australia cricketer Nikhil Chaudhary was seen interacting with the former legendary Aussie pacer Brett in Hindi when Brett Lee asked him, “Aap kaise ho,” to which Nikhil Replied, “Main theek hun, thank you.”

In the same line of events, another video started making rounds on social media as soon as Nikhil Chaudhary met his idol and former Aussie great Brett Lee in a very special moment just after the conclusion of the match against the Renegades at the Docklands Stadium in Melbourne.

“Would you have a selfie with me,” asked ecstatic Nikhil Chaudhary to which Lee replied, “Sure, Mate.”

Speaking of the action of the 26th BBL match between Melbourne Renegades and Hobart Hurricanes, the visiting skipper Nathan Ellis won the toss and asked the Renegades to bat first. Batting first, Renegades managed to post a total of 147 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, with Jordan Cox and Jonathan Wells scoring 47 and 38 runs, respectively.

Tim David, Riley Meredith, Nathan Ellis, and Nikhil Chaudhary scalped one wicket each for the Hurricanes in the first innings.

While chasing the target, Hobart Hurricanes comfortably crossed the line, scoring 148 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 18.4 overs. Sam Hain played a match-defining knock of 51 runs off just 36 balls, hitting 2 fours and 3 sixes followed by Corey Anderson’s unbeaten 41 runs off 35 balls, hitting 3 fours and 2 sixes. Eventually, the Hurricanes won the match by 6 wickets to keep their hopes alive in contention for the playoff stage of the tournament.

Fergus O’Neil scalped two wickets for the Renegades, alongside one wicket each bagged by Adam Zampa and Peter Siddle.
