WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah does special Marcus Rashford's celebration after dismissing Ibrahim Zadran in match against Afghanistan

Star Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah provided his side the first breakthrough after some early attacking shots from the Afghanistan openers. Bumrah trapped the star Afghan opener Ibrahim Zadran with a back of a length, having a speed of almost 135 kmps. The ball landed near and around off stump and ended up getting straightened eventually.

Zadran made an effort to block it straight, having himself in the crease without attempting either an aggressive or a loose shot. But the ball ended up taking an outside edge and went straight into the hands of wicketkeeper KL Rahul. Subsequently, it was Bumrah’s celebration after taking the wicket, that attracted the eyeballs, he celebrated in a ‘Temple Point’ style, which is also a signature celebration star Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

The video of Bumrah’s special celebration has also gone viral over social media as soon as it was shared on the official Instagram account of cricket’s governing body.

Speaking of the action of the match, Afghanistan have scored 158 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 31.3 overs so far. Openers, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran went back to the pavilion on the individual scores of 21 and 22 runs, respectively.

At the moment, skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi and middle-order batter Azmatullah Omarzai are there in the middle with individual scores of 44 and 48 runs, respectively. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Hardik Pandya have scalped one wicket each for India so far in the match.
