Prithvi Shaw never stops making headlines. In a warm-up match before the Ranji season began, the batter, who is frequently condemned for leading an unruly lifestyle, scored an incredible 181 against his old home team, Mumbai. However, his actions on the pitch landed him in yet another controversy.

Against Mumbai at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Gahunje, the right-handed batsman swung his bat at Musheer Khan, the younger brother of India star Sarfaraz Khan. Shaw apparently apologised to Musheer, so it appears that the situation has been resolved. Shortly after being dismissed at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, the right-handed hitter got into a furious argument with a number of Mumbai players.

The batsman was obviously upset when young spinner Musheer Khan gave Shaw a stern farewell after dismissing him for 181. Shaw charged at Musheer right away, sparking a heated altercation. The umpires had to intervene to defuse the heated exchange between Shaw and the Mumbai side.

“Prithvi realized his mistake and approached Musheer and apologised to him. Prithvi told him that, ‘I am like an elder brother to you.’ So all is well between the two," The Times of India quoted a source as saying.

When Prithvi took the initiative to make amends on Day 3 of the warm-up match, the two appeared to become less tense. The opener approached Musheer, wrapped his arm around his shoulder, and struck up a conversation after dispatching Arshin Kulkarni. Musheer gave a kind reply, putting his hand on Shaw's waist as they had a playful moment together, indicating that the disagreement had been settled.

Shaw is frequently cited as an illustration of unused potential. Although he is a brilliant batter, his career has been tarnished by off-field scandals thus far. Despite being one of the nation's top young all-round players, Musheer has frequently allowed his passion and rage to overcome him. India international Sarfaraz Khan, Musheer's older brother, and Shaw have been friends since childhood and have shared schools, teams, and rooms.
