In their most recent encounter in the Hundred Men's 2025 competition, Birmingham Phoenix skipper Liam Livingstone destroyed Oval Invincibles spinner Rashid Khan. The Edgbaston Ground in Birmingham served as the venue for this game.
After being invited to bat first, the Invincibles amassed 180/8 in their 100-ball innings, helped by Donovan Fereira's 63 off 29 and Jordan Cox's 44. Benny Howell, Adam Milne, and Trent Boult each claimed two wickets for Phoenix.
In exchange, Joe Clark scored 27 in 14 balls, and Will Smeed gave Phoenix a strong start with 51 in 29 balls. The squad won in 98 balls with four wickets remaining thanks to a standout performance by captain Liam Livingstone, who scored 69* in 27 balls with seven fours and five sixes.
Rashid Khan hit for 26 runs in a 5-ball spell; goes for 59 runs in his 20 balls
Rashid bowled a five-ball stretch between the 76th and 80th balls of the Phoenix's chase in the game, during which Livingstone smashed three consecutive sixes with a boundary on either side.
Rashid was unable to get the lengths right, and his speeds were down as the balls flew loopily out of his hands, allowing Livingstone to repeatedly play his favorite slog.

Rashid let up 59 runs without getting a wicket at the end of his 20-ball stint. Rashid's 20-ball spell statistics were the poorest in the Hundred's history, and this was the most expensive T20 spell (the Hundred is considered T20 for statistical purposes).
Rashid overtook the record for the most expensive bowling spell from David Wiese and David Payne's joint record of 53 runs.
This was also the most runs conceded by Rashid Khan in a T20 match. His 1-55 against Kings XI Punjab in the 2018 IPL was the most costly of his eight previous innings in which he gave up more than 50 runs.
