India have arrived in Pune on Sunday, October 15 ahead of their next match in the ODI World Cup 2023 against Bangladesh. Notably, the men in blue under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma will play their fourth match of the World Cup campaign against Bangladesh on Thursday, October 19 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Currently, the hosts have been unassailable in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 with three successive wins in their first three matches against Australia, Afghanistan and the arch-rivals, Pakistan, respectively. Recently, they faced Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 14 in their third match of the campaign.

The video of Team India’s arrival in Pune is also making rounds on social media as soon as an X-user shares it on the micro-blogging site.

Here’s the video of Team India’s arrival in Pune:

Speaking of the action of the Indian team’s clash against the arch-rivals Pakistan, they completely outmuscled the men in green by bundling them out on the score of 191 runs in the first innings. Thanks to the brilliant bowling attack of India, in which all the bowlers except Shardul Thakur, scalped two wickets each.

While chasing the target, Rohit Sharma’s men comfortably crossed the line in 30.3 overs to win the match by a massive margin of 7 wickets. It was also the eighth straight win of India against Pakistan in their 31-year-old ODI World Cup rivalry between both teams.

Following the clash against Bangladesh in Pune on October 19, India will face New Zealand on Sunday, October 22 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. Notably, the New Zealand are also unassailable in the tournament so far with three successive wins in their first three matches of this edition.

India is eyeing to end their 12-year-long wait for the ODI World Cup since they won it last time in 2011 in their backyard.
