“We hope Ambati Rayudu is okay” - Ex-CSK star reacts as fans troll him after RCB defeats CSK

Former CSK and MI batter Ambati Rayudu hogged the spotlight after RCB bagged two consecutive victories in the IPL 2025 season. While they defeated the defending champions KKR in the first game of the season, they crushed CSK by 50 runs in the second game to end their Chepauk ginx.

Interestingly, RCB hasn’t won a game against CSK at Chepauk since 2008. Interestingly, Rajat Patidar-led side went on to stage a grand 50-run win at CSK’s home ground in Chennai, ending their 17-year-long wait.

An Instagram page named RCB 12th Man Army was quick to troll Rayudu, enquiring about his whereabouts and well-being after RCB’s win at Chepauk. However, Rayudu took it in a positive way and shared the post on his official Instagram handle.

“A certain member on the panel has been found missing online for the last two hours. If anyone has any knowledge about it, please reach out. We hope Ambati Rayudu is okay," read the Instagram post.

“Hahahaha good one .. @rcbfans.official This is exactly how banter is supposed to be.. you guys have a great team this year and you can hope for the best," Rayudu wrote.

How did the CSK vs RCB game pan out?

After losing the toss, RCB were tasked to bat first. Despite the toss not going in their favor, they posted a daunting total of 196/7 in 20 overs. In response, CSK could post only 146/8 in 20 overs, losing the game by 50 runs.

While RCB will play their next game against Gujarat Titans on Wednesday, April 2 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, CSK will next take on the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, March 30 in Guwahati.
