Delhi Capitals Women will cross swords with Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women in the fourth match of Women’s Premier League (WPL 2025) at Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Monday, February 17.
In the season opener between Gujarat and RCB, the former batted first and posted a dominating total of 201/5 in 20 overs. Beth Mooney (56) and Ashleigh Gardner (79*) were exceptional with the willow. Renuka Singh scalped two wickets with the ball.
In the chase, RCB Women won the game quite comfortably with nine balls to spare. Ellyse Perry (57), Richa Ghosh (64*), and Kanika Ahuja (30*) were exceptional in the middle and death overs to take their side over the line.

RCB Women's No. 3 batter Ellyse Perry played a crucial role in the 202-run chase against Gujarat Giants Women in the WPL 2025 season opener. Though Perry didn’t roll her arm in the first match of the season, she played a brilliant innings with the willow.
When RCB were in dire straits at 14/2 in two overs, Perry smacked a 57-run knock in 34 balls with six fours and two sixes, stitching an 86-run partnership with Raghvi Bist. At the time of losing her wicket, RCB was in a decent position to win the game.
3. Richa Ghosh
RCB Women's keeper-batter Richa Ghosh, who batted at No. 5 in the WPL 2025 season opener against Gujarat Giants Women, was the actual match-winning for the Bengaluru franchise.
At 109/4 in 12.2 overs, Richa Ghosh was one of the explosive batters left in the line-up. She went on to smack 64* runs in 27 balls with seven fours and four sixes at an exceptional strike rate of 237.04 to take her side over the line with nine balls to spare.
