Royal Challengers Bengaluru will cross swords with Delhi Capitals Women in the 14th match of the Women’s Premier League 2025 (WPL) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, March 1.
Led by Smriti Mandhana, RCB Women dropped down to the third rank from the top spot with two wins and three consecutive defeats, picking up only four points at an NRR of 0.155.
They started off their campaign with a six-wicket win over the Gujarat Giants. Later, they continued their good winning momentum with another eight-wicket win over Delhi Capitals Women.
However, all is not well for RCB as they struggled in their three matches over MI Women, UP Warriorz Women, and Gujarat Giants Women as they lost all these three games.
On the other hand, Meg Lanning-led Delhi Capitals Women are at the second rank with three wins and two losses, picking up six points.
They started off their competition with a two-run close win over MI Women. Later, they suffered a loss to RCB Women by eight wickets. However, they made a strong comeback against UP Warriorz to secure a seven-wicket win.
In their fourth game, they bagged another loss by 33 runs over UP Warriorz Women in the reverse fixture. In their fifth match of the season, they stunned the Gujarat Giants by six wickets.
Speaking about their head-to-head record between RCB-W and DC-W, both these sides have met against each other on six occasions with RCB winning only two encounters while Delhi bagged four victories.
