When does WPL 2025 start and where will it be held?
WPL 2025 will begin on February 14, with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) facing Gujarat Giants (GG) in Vadodara. The tournament will run for a month, culminating in the final on March 15 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
For the first time, the tournament will be hosted across four cities—Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. The matches will be spread across these venues, with Delhi Capitals (DC) not getting any home games this season.
What is the format of the tournament?
The format remains the same as previous seasons. Each team will play the others twice in the league stage. The team finishing first in the table will directly qualify for the final, while the teams finishing second and third will compete in the Eliminator to secure the other spot.

No, there will be no double-headers in WPL 2025, similar to WPL 2024. All 22 matches will be played over 30 days, with each game starting at 7:30 PM local time.
