India registered a historic win by 7 wickets in the recently concluded second and last Test of the two-match series at the Newlands in Cape Town. The match ended just on the second day as it also got recorded as the shortest-ever Test match in the 147-year-long history of the game.

Meanwhile, India have also gained a big boost in the points table of the World Test Championship 2023-25 as they have now moved to the top spot of the table with this massive win against the Proteas.

Later, with 176 runs in the second innings, South Africa set a target of 79 runs for India in the second innings.
