Yash Dayal breaks silence on sexual exploitation charge against him, accuses woman of borrowing lakhs

Royal Challengers Bengaluru star Yash Dayal found himself in troubled waters after a woman from Ghaziabad lodged an FIR against him over ‘sexual exploitation’ on the pretext of marriage. He has been booked under Section 69 BNS (sexual intercourse by deceitful means, including a false promise of marriage. However, Dayal has responded in the matter, lodging a complaint against the woman with the Prayagraj Police.

The 27-year-old has appealed to the Khuldabad police station to register a case against the woman, accusing her of stealing an iPhone and laptop according to a report in NDTV. He also revealed that he got to know of her through Instagram in 2021 while also alleging her of borrowing lakhs of rupees under the pretext of medical treatment for herself and her family.

Dayal has also accused her of promising to repay the amount but not doing so to date. The cricketer has also accused the Ghaziabad woman that she asked money repeatedly for shopping and has also claimed that he has all the evidence to support these claims.

In a three-page complaint, Yash Dayal has also demanded an FIR be filed against the woman and two members of her family.

Earlier, the woman had accused the cricketer and his family of misleading her under the pretext of marriage. She also claimed to have met the family and that the cricketer behaved like his husband many times. The woman also alleged that she was exploited financially and physically over the last few years and when opposed, she had to face violence too. An FIR was lodged against Yash Dayal at the Indirapuram police station on Sunday.

Even before the FIR was lodged, the woman had registered the complaint to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through IGRS (Integrated Grievance Redressal System) on June 21.

With Yash Dayal responding to the allegations now, it remains to be seen if an FIR is also lodged against the woman.
