Former Pakistan cricketer has accused the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of discrimination against him. Recently, the board released the list of players who have taken the most wickets in Tests in Australia. In the list, the players included are the likes of Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Mohammad Asif, etc. Meanwhile, Kaneria claimed that he has taken 24 wickets in five games Down Under.

Notably, the former leg-spinner's claims of him taking 24 wickets in five games are correct. As per his stats on ESPNcricinfo, the Karachi player has played five Tests and took 25 wickets averaging 40.58 including three five-wicket hauls. Talking about his Test career, he made his debut in 2000 and played for the country for 10 years. During this, the 43-year-old has taken 261 wickets in 61 games.

Meanwhile, talking about the ongoing Pakistan tour of Australia 2023-24, the Asian side lost the first Test by 360 runs, one of the heaviest defeats in the longest format of the game. They need to win the second Test, starting on December 26 in Melbourne to remain alive in the series. After the first game, due to poor over rate, the team was docked two points, on top of a heavy defeat.

Not to forget, Pakistan is yet to win a Test match after the 1994-95 series. In that series, they won the last Test, trailing by 0-2. In the second game, they reduced the Aussies to 120-odd for five wickets, chasing 369. However, Adam Gilchrist and Justin Langer ensured that the team won by four wickets to win the series.
