Meanwhile, the former CSK stalwart Imran Tahir has recently come up with a revelation about the reaction of skipper MS Dhoni when CSK made a comeback in the tournament after a long wait. Tahir talked about the moment when Dhoni went emotional at CSK’s team dinner and how he reacted to express his feelings for the franchise.

"In 2018, When CSK came back to this league, there was a team dinner, Dhoni was emotional & he cried, I came to know how this team is so close to his heart - he considers it as a family - it was very emotional for us,” said Tahir to Star Sports.
