The second Test match of the historic Test series between Pakistan and Australia is underway. This match is expected to be a lot more exciting than the first match, which ended in a tame draw. After electing to bat, Australia got off to a good start as openers Usman Khawaja and David Warner added 82 runs. Warner fell to Faheem Ashraf.
Marnus Labuschagne walked in to bat next but didn't trouble the scorers. He was run-out for a nine-ball duck. He tried to hit the ball in the gap between mid-off and extra cover but did not time it well. There never was a run, but he took off and lost his wicket.
This run-out gave Twitterati an opportunity to have some fun with the Australian cricketer. "Why the hell did I eat daal and roti only if someone gave him biryani he would’ve scored a century," a fan hilariously wrote. Notably, Marnus Labuschagne posted an Instagram photo of him enjoying the meal of dal-roti during his stay in Karachi. Labuschagne termed it as his favourite meal.
