The second Test between Pakistan and New Zealand has been an enthralling affair so far with New Zealand having a lead of 117 runs in the second innings till lunch on Day 4. The kiwis went from 345/9 to 449 all out in the first innings courtesy of a 104-run stand between tailenders Ajaz Patel and Matt Henry.

Seeing the kiwi tail stitching a good partnership for the tenth wicket, Pakistan commentator Bazid Khan reminisced about another 10th wicket stand of New Zealand involving Danny Morrison. However, he mistakenly called him ‘Dani Daniels’ who is an ‘adult-film star’. The video of the incident has been going viral all over the internet as Bazid became a laughing stock.

In an interesting turn of events, Dani Daniels herself has reacted to the viral clip. Daniels took to Twitter on Thursday and wrote, ‘Put me in coach! 😏😂🤍’.

Bazid Khan is a former Pakistan cricketer who represented the country in one Test and 5 ODIs. He was talking about the highest tenth wicket stand of New Zealand between BF Hastings and RO Collinge of 151 against Pakistan in Auckland in 1973. Bazid thought Danny Morrison was involved in it and hence took his name on air which led to the eventual mishap.

Ish Sodhi and Ajaz Patel spark a dramatic collapse for Pakistan

Coming back to the match, in reply to New Zealand’s 449, Pakistan got bundled out for 408 in the first session on Day 4. After being 385/5 in the third session on Day 3, Pakistan suffered a dramatic collapse and finished Day 3 on 407/9. Saud Shakeel remained unbeaten on a magnificent 125. Imam-ul-Haq (83) and Sarfaraz Ahmed (78) also made vital contributions in Pakistan’s first innings.

Ajaz Patel and Ish Sodhi were the pick of the bowlers for New Zealand who picked up 3 wickets each.

After conceding a lead of 41 in the first innings, Babar Azam’s men got off to a great start as left-arm seamer Mir Hamza dismissed the centurion of the first innings Devon Conway for a golden duck. After losing Conway early, Kane Williamson and Tom Latham stabilised the innings as New Zealand finished on 76/1 at lunch on Day 4.
