Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner addressed on T Natarajan’s knee injury and his availability for the upcoming games. The Orange Army finally opened their account with a win against Punjab Kings on Wednesday in Chennai. SRH star pacer T Natarajan played first couple of games but has been on the bench in their last two games due to his knee injury. David Warner disclosed that the seamer is recovering from a sore knee but the extent of the injury is doubtful as he hasn’t got a scan yet.
The left-arm seamer was SRH's most significant discovery in the previous edition of the IPL. He had a successful IPL campaign as he scalped 16 wickets in 16 games for the orange army. Having made his India debut across all three formats, T Natarajan is all prepared to enter IPL 2021 as a more experienced and fearless bowler. The 29-year-old was last seen in action in the recently concluded India vs England series. His last-over exploits to defend 14 runs and hand the Indian cricket team a thrilling series win has put him in the spotlight once again.

Sunrisers Hyderabad recorded their first win of the season, defeating Punjab Kings by nine wickets. The 14th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season was held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday. Chasing a below par target of 121 runs, SRH easily scored the runs in 18.4 overs with 9 wickets in hand. Opening batsmen David Warner and Jonny Bairstow gave SRH a strong start, scoring 37 and 63 runs respectively.
With the departure of David Warner, Kane Williamson sealed the match with Jonny Bairstow. He played a knock of 16 runs off 19 deliveries. The duo remained unbeaten and won the match with eight balls to spare. Meanwhile, it was Fabian Allen who registered a wicket for Punjab Kings. Earlier, PBKS wrapped up their innings after getting bundled out in 19.4 overs, scoring 120 runs. The Mohali based outfit faced a massive collapse in their batting order. For the side only Shahrukh Khan (22) and Mayank Agarwal (22) could make noteworthy contributions. Khaleel Ahmed was in great form for SRH, taking three scalps in four overs. Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma picked up two wickets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul and Rashid Khan recorded a dismissal each.
