David Warner is currently busy playing the ongoing three-match Test series at home against South Africa. After winning the player of the match award in the second game, fans were hoping Warner to perform again in 2023. But, he failed to do so as Warner scored only 10 runs in Australia’s first innings.

On the other hand, David Warner is also famous for his funny reels and videos on social media platforms. The Southpaw batter from Australia always posts several videos while enacting Telugu and Hindi film songs as well as dialogues. Now, on 4 January 2023, Netflix India shared a tweet suggesting a post-retirement plan for the star batter. On 6 January, the batter came up with a reply on Twitter that has now gone viral.

Here is the shared tweet:

"I'm committed to playing next year's World Cup." - David Warner

Speaking of the tweet, Netflix India wrote: “If David Warner retires from cricket, it's only apt that he begins starring in Telugu movies.” In reply to that, Warner wrote smiling emojis. Then, the company again replied: “We've seen you dance to Butta Bomma, we know you have what it takes.”

Speaking about David Warner, he played his 100th Test match against the Proteas in Melbourne. He also smashed a double century in that clash. After that match, Warner said that he is fully committed to playing in the 2023 World Cup. "I'm committed to playing next year's World Cup. I will keep myself fit, try and keep scoring, but if they (the team management) do tap me on the back and say it's time, I'm ready (to quit)," David Warner said.

Speaking about the upcoming Ashes and Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Warner said that there is extra motivation to win in India and England. He said: “The extra motivation for me is winning in India, and completely winning a series in England. I’ve been told by the coach and the selectors they’d like me to be there. I still know what energy I can bring to the team.”
