India is already gearing up with full-fledged preparations for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 later this year in the month of October and November. The hosts have started renovating all the venues that are set to host the matches for the 13th edition of the prestigious cricket quadrennial.

Meanwhile, the fans are also eager for the much-anticipated and high-octane clash between the arch-nemesis India and Pakistan. Both teams are likely to lock horns with each other in the group phase of the tournament. Apart from that, all eyes in the cricketing fraternity are on the possible venue for this highly awaited clash between India and Pakistan.

Although a few of the media reports have learned that the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is likely to host the India-Pakistan clash. Subsequently, a section of cricket fans immediately took to Twitter to come up with a lot of reactions and opinions on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Amidst all the speculations and assumptions from the fans and the media on the schedule of the ODI World Cup 2023, Chief Executive of cricket's governing body Geoff Allardice had also talked about the same/

"I think even today (Wednesday) we might be receiving the schedule from the hosts, and we've just got a bit of consultation to do with all the participating teams and the broadcasters. Then we'll be publishing that as soon as we possibly can. When we put on events, we very much work hand in hand with the hosts,” said Allardice in an interview with BBC’s Test Match Special.

"And in some places, there's a lot of consultation that needs to take place, both within the cricket system and with governments, etc. There's a lot of responsibility on a host to deliver a good event, and they've got to go through the right checks and balances,” he added later.
