On 23 October 2022, India kicked off their 20-20 World Cup campaign in Melbourne against Pakistan. India lost the World Cup game against their arch-rivals. So, both players and Indian fans were looking for a better performance this time around. However, India did not disappoint their fans as they managed a four-wicket victory over Pakistan.
Virat Kohli was the star of the show as he pulled off a stunning chase at the MCG. After that win, Indian fans were in an ecstatic mood while Pakistan fans were totally disgusted. Former Indian batter, Virender Sehwag also shared a congratulatory tweet after the win. But, he shared a video of an angry reaction from a Pakistani fan that went viral.

Speaking about that tweet, Virender Sehwag shared a video of a Pakistan fan breaking a TV after Pakistan lost the match against India. He shared the same with a caption: “Relax Padosi, it’s only a game. Hamaare yahan Deepawali hai toh pataakhe phod rahe hain aur aap bevajah TV phod rahe hain. Nahin yaar, TV ka kya kasoor.”
However, the Pakistani fan looked full angry as he broke the television. He could not digest the victory of India as Virat Kohli snatched the win from their jaws. Speaking about the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. Pakistan scored 159 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Iftikhar Ahmed and Shan Masood scored the fifties each for their country.
In reply, only Virat Kohli stood tall and scored 82* runs off 53 balls, including six fours and four sixes. Along with him, Hardik Pandya also scored vital 40 runs off 37 balls. After the match, Virender Sehwag came up with a nice message for the team and Virat Kohli, He wrote: “Yaayyyy…Happyyy Deepawali What an amazing game. High on emotions, but this is probably the most brilliant T20 Innings I have ever seen, take a bow, Virat Kohli. Chak De India #IndvsPak.”
