Delhi Set To Release Huge Amount By Releasing Star Indian Players Ahead Of Indian T20 League 2023 – Reports

Indian T20 League is one of the best T20 leagues around the globe. Every year players come to this tournament to represent their respective franchises. Currently, all franchises are looking to finalize their teams ahead of the next season of the tournament. Even, the Indian Cricket Board have told them to submit the list of retained and released players by 15 November 2022.

Delhi is one of the teams who are also looking to strengthen their team for the next season. There were several reports that the team are going to release Shardul Thakur, Srikar Bharat, and Mandeep Singh ahead of the next season. Now, reports are suggesting that they have finalized the list which consists of five players.

According to recent PTI reports, Delhi are looking to release Shardul Thakur, KS Bharat, Tim Seifert, Mandeep Singh, and Ashwin Hebbar ahead of the next season. Fans must be worried about seeing such players go to other teams. However, according to previous reports, the tentative date for that auction might be 16 December 2022.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant failed to lead his team last time around as they finished fifth on the table. They managed only 14 points from 14 matches. Now, the mini-auction will happen ahead of the next season. However, the transfer/trade window will remain open till one week before the auction. Then, it will re-open after the conclusion of the proposed auction in mid-December.

In the last season for Delhi, Shardul Thakur scored 120 runs in 14 matches while he managed 15 wickets with the ball. KS Bharat scored eight runs only from two matches. Along with him, Mandeep Singh played only three matches where he scored only 18 runs. On the other hand, Tim Seifert scored only 24 runs in two matches during the last season. Meanwhile, Ashwin Hebbar did not get a single match in the last season for Delhi.
