Prithvi Shaw’s made his Indian T20 League debut way back in 2018 and saw a sensational rise to the Indian cricket national team from then on. He was soon promoted to the national side and made his Test debut in the same year against West indies.

His ODI debut came two years later when he played against New Zealand in 2020 and followed up with a T20I debut in 2021 against Sri Lanka. At this point, he was touted as the next best thing in Indian cricket.

His international career, however, did not follow the same path as many predicted and soon the Thane-born batter found himself out of the team in all formats. He also has the highest score of 202. In List A cricket the opener has even better stats. In 44 matches he has made 2316 runs with an average of 56.48 and a strike rate of 125. The highest score of 227* speak volumes about his technical abilities.

Today, playing for West Zone Shaw hit an unbeaten 104 runs in just 96 balls in a First Class match.
