He praised the modern-day batting great after the latter smashed a sensational century against the arch-rivals Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023 super-4 match.

Virat Kohli scored his career’s 47th ODI century and also became the fastest to reach the outstanding milestone of 13,000 ODI runs. He is now just three centuries away from breaking the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s 49 ODI centuries, which is still the highest number of centuries in ODI history.
