In what comes as a delight to all their fans, Bangladesh have been giving New Zealand a run for their money in the ongoing Test match at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. With one more day to go, the Kiwis are 147/5 in the third innings, and their lead is just 17.

Thus, the visitors have a golden opportunity of beating the hosts and win the match. However, a comical review by the Bangladesh captain Monimul ensured that there was a bizarre moment in the game. This occurred during the 37th over when Taskin bowled a full-length delivery to Ross Taylor.

While the Kiwi batter managed to get the middle of his bat, the opposition skipper still took the review and shocked one and all. The replays clearly showed that the ball was met with the full face of the bat. Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik also sarcastically trolled Bangladesh for the review.

The Keeper-batter took to Twitter to take a cheeky dig at the Asian side for the review. While a user shared the video of the same referral, the 36-year-old quoted that Tweet and asked if Haque went upstairs for a bat before wicket.

"Review for Bat Before Wicket? read Dinesh Karthik's Tweet. It is to be noted that because of this wasted referral by the visitors, they went on to lose all their DRS reviews. Hence, several cricket experts labelled this as the "worst review ever.

Nevertheless, the Haque-led side are on the verge of achieving something special tomorrow. After scoring 458 earlier in the second innings, a brilliant bowling spell by Ebadot Hossain (4/39) ensured that they are right on top and stand a realistic chance of winning the Test.
