In what comes as a shocking revelation, James Faulkner had an apparent contractual disagreement with the Pakistan Cricket Board and Pakistan Super League. He recently went on to express his disappointment about the same on Twitter. The all-rounder has also decided to pull out of the tournament as his contractual agreements haven't been "honoured".
Faulkner took to Twitter to claim that the PCB and PSL have continued to lie to him. The Aussie then went on to apologise to all the fans for his withdrawal from the team’s last two matches, i.e. against Multan Sultans on Friday and against Karachi Kings. It is to be noted that he was representing Quetta Gladiators.
"1/2 I apologise to the Pakistan cricket fans. But unfortunately I’ve had to withdraw from the last 2 matches and leave the @thePSLt20 due to the @TheRealPCB not honouring my contractual agreement/payments. I’ve been here the whole duration and they have continued to lie to me." read James Faulkner's Tweet.

It hurts to leave as I wanted to help to get international cricket back in Pakistan as there is so much young talent and the fans are amazing.
But the treatment I have received has been a disgrace from the @TheRealPCB and @thePSLt20I’m sure you all understand my position.

Several fans from across the globe went on to react to the Tweet. While some sympathized with the 31-year-old, the others ridiculed his claims. Faulkner then added another Tweet, where he said that he wanted to help international cricket get back to the country but the way PCB treated him was a disgrace.

However, a Pakistan journalist named Farid Khan has made some bold claims. He stated that Faulkner was asked to leave as his behaviour was not good. According to him, the Tasmanian broke a chandelier in a hotel.
"Faulkner has been involved in controversies in the past too, I didn't want to tweet it but I will have to. Faulkner was sent back home this morning, he had broken the chandelier of PC hotel in Lahore too, had thrown his personal belongings in disgust as well <1/2>" read Farid Khan's Tweet.
"There has never been a single issue with PSL due to non payments EVER. All players are paid 50%-70% in advance and rest of the payment is released too. PSL has happened every year smoothly and without any issues. The PCB should issue press release and reveal the real thing <2/2>" read another Tweet, where he spoke about the same.

Damages. PC Hotel, Lahore. Shouldn't have let him leave and fly to Australia. #HBLPSL7 pic.twitter.com/TS8I9ZUOFJ
