In came Mitchell Marsh, who struggled at the crease with a strike rate of less than 100. On the other hand, Warner (66 off 38) was going well before he was trapped lbw by Wanindu Hasaranga.

Skipper Rishabh Pant (34 off 17) tried to take the team over the line but was stopped by a one-handed catch from Kohli off Siraj.
