India and New Zealand locked horns in the third and last of the three-match T20I series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The host's skipper Hardik Pandya won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first in the series decider against the Blackcaps. Batting first, Hardik’s men managed to post a total of 234 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
While chasing this big target, the Kiwi batting lineup succumbed to the lethal bowling attack of the men in blue. Skipper Hardik Pandya led the pace attack to bundle up Mitchell Santner & co. only on the score of runs and won the match by a mammoth margin of 168 runs.
The Indian cricket fans were also ecstatic and overjoyed following this outstanding performance from Hardik Pandya-led young Indian team. They took to Twitter and lavished praises on the Indian team.

Batting first after winning the toss, Team India got an early blow in the second over as Ishan Kishan fell prey to Michael Bracewell only on the individual score of 1 run and the team’s total score of 7 runs. But later on, Shubman Gill smashed a swashbuckling and historic century of 126 runs off 63 with 12 boundaries and seven sixes to his name.
Other than Gill, Rahul Tripathi, and skipper Hardik Pandya played the knocks of 44 and 30 runs respectively. Riding on these brilliant knocks, India notched up a massive total of 234 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
While chasing the target of 235 runs, the New Zealand batting attack completely surrendered against the bowling attack of India and got bundled up only on the double-digit score of 66 runs in only 12.1 overs.
Eventually, the Kiwis lost the match by 168 runs and the series by a margin of 1-2. Skipper Hardik Pandya amazed everyone with his stunning bowling performance by scalping 4 wickets at the cost of only 16 runs in his quota of four overs. Other than Pandya, the pace trio of Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, and Shivam Mavi two wickets each.
