'Dravid and Vadapav harayenge World Cup' - Fans Slam Rahul Dravid And Rohit Sharma For Ignoring Rishabh Pant Against Bangladesh

On 2 November 2022, team India locked horns with Bangladesh in Adelaide in the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. India suffered a loss in the last match against the Proteas after winning the first two matches. On the other hand, Bangladesh also managed to win two out of their three matches. So, the stage was set for an enthralling battle between these sides.

Speaking about the last match against Soth Africa, India batted first and scored 133 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. In reply, David Miller managed to pull off the chase with two balls to spare. So, fans were hoping to see a better show from the Men in Blue.

Fans started to slam Rohit Sharma and Rohit Shama for ignoring Rishabh Pant against Bangladesh

During the clash against the Proteas, Dinesh Karthik sustained an injury. So, Rishabh Pant came up to replace him while fielding. So, reports were there that Rishabh Pany can play against Bangladesh in Adelaide. In this ongoing World Cup, Dinesh Karthik has scored only seven runs in two innings so far. So, fans were hoping to see Pant in action instead of the veteran wicketkeeper. However, Dinesh Karthik was seen having a practice session on the eve of that clash.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant also failed to contribute in the shortest format of the game in recent matches for India. He last played in the practice games against the Western Australia XI. But, he failed to score big in those matches also. During the warm-up match against Australia, Rishabh Pant did not play. He was also seen with ice strapping on his knee, sitting with Mohammad Shami and Moeen Ali. Against Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan won the toss and asked India to bat first. But, fans were in shock as Rohit Sharma confirmed Pant’s availability in the lineup. Fans blamed Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid for ignoring the wicketkeeper batter once again in the World Cup.
