Van der Dussen and Kagiso Rabada help South Africa recover from 73/7 to eventual dismissal at 174 on the second Test against the WI. Facing a mammoth target of over 300 runs will be daunting for the hosts. The West Indies team scored only 97 and 162 in their two innings in the first Test. The hosts lost the first match by an in innings and 63 runs. Kemar Roach was the pick of bowlers for the West Indies team as he took a four-wicket haul. The fast bowler dismissed both the South African opening batsmen before getting rid of Rabada and Anrich Nortje. Kemar Roach registered bowling figures of 4/52. All-rounder Kyle Mayers also picked up three wickets. Jayden Seales, Jason Holder, and skipper Kraigg Brathwaite also picked up a wicket each.

The Caribbean team is all prepared to resume on the fourth day at 15 without loss. There has been no successful run-chase in Tests at this venue since the first match that was played in 2003.
