Finally, the Indian team management has dropped the senior batter KL Rahul from the playing XI of the ongoing third of the four-match Test series against Australia. Young batter Shubman Gill has replaced the 30-year-old for the penultimate fixture of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Subsequently, the management has also roped in Umesh Yadav in place of senior pacer Mohammed Shami.

Returning to KL Rahul, the fans took his omission as an opportunity to troll him; they took to Twitter to come up with many exciting reactions on both the Indian management and the Karnataka batter.

Speaking of the action of the match so far, the hosts’ skipper Rohit Sharma has decided to bat first at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The Indian team is looking into big trouble during the ongoing third Test as they have lost seven wickets only on the score of 84 runs at the time of Lunch. At the time of Lunch, all-rounders, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel were there in the middle.

Australian spinners Nathan Lyon and Matthew Kuhnemann have scalped three wickets each alongside Todd Murphy who has claimed one wicket.

Notably, Steve Smith is leading the Australian owing to the sudden departure of regular skipper Pat Cummins back to his country due to family commitments.
