Talking about cricket, Sourav Ganguly appeared for India in 113 Tests and 311 ODIs in his 16-year-long international cricketing career. He also led India to the final of the 2003 ODI World Cup where they lost against Ricky Ponting’s Australia.
Notably, he had also been into the controversial headlines during his tenure as the president of the Indian Cricket Board. His tenure mostly revolved around the resignation of Virat Kohli from the captaincy of the national side of the Indian team. The speculations and media reports also learned that Sourav Ganguly disliked the former skipper and batting superstar, Virat Kohli.
The same was also reflected in the press conferences and the media interactions that Virat Kohli had during the phase of this controversy.
