Recently, media reports have learned about the biopic of the former legendary Indian skipper and batter, Sourav Ganguly. Meanwhile, the reports have also understood that star Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is reported to play the former Indian skipper in the latter’s biopic. Earlier, Ranbir also worked in a famous biopic of veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

“It is now almost finalized that Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Sourav Ganguly in his biopic,” read a media report regarding the development in the biopic news.

Meanwhile, the fans couldn’t hold them from coming up with some interesting reactions on the micro-blogging site Twitter and they also trolled Ranbir Kapoor. Subsequently, a few of the fans also asked excitingly who will play the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli; to be sacked as captain by Ranbir Kapoor’s Sourav Ganguly.

Talking about cricket, Sourav Ganguly appeared for India in 113 Tests and 311 ODIs in his 16-year-long international cricketing career. He also led India to the final of the 2003 ODI World Cup where they lost against Ricky Ponting’s Australia.

Notably, he had also been into the controversial headlines during his tenure as the president of the Indian Cricket Board. His tenure mostly revolved around the resignation of Virat Kohli from the captaincy of the national side of the Indian team. The speculations and media reports also learned that Sourav Ganguly disliked the former skipper and batting superstar, Virat Kohli.
