Former India skipper Virat Kohli is always more than happy to share his knowledge with young players. Kohli not just share his knowledge with the Indian players but overseas players as well. In 2016, when Haseeb Hameed made his debut for England against India, the then Indian skipper had an interaction with the former. In the Indian T20 League, he interacts with the players after every Bangalore game.

Last year, when Ishan Kishan was going through a bad patch with the bat in the Indian T20 League, the right-hander spoke to him. It was revealed later that Kohli had asked Kishan not to worry about his place in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, India batter Jemimah Rodrigues has opened on her interaction with the Delhi-born player. This interaction in 2019 happened when India Men's and Women's team were touring New Zealand for the white-ball series.

"Smriti and I had the opportunity to talk to him. We had asked him 'we want to speak to you Virat bhaiya about batting. Can we meet?'. We were in the same hotel in New Zealand. He was like 'yeah sure, come'. So he called us at the cafe and Anushka Sharma was also there. We had asked him for just a few minutes but we ended up speaking for four hours. We spoke half an hour about batting but after that it was just normal things," Rodrigues said on 'The Ranveer Show'.

Rodrigues added that the interaction with the former skipper helped her a lot. "A lot of things were spoken. We spoke a lot about batting so I think I am privileged like that. I get to meet such people. At the right time, we met them and they've actually inspired me and helped me at that phase I was in," Rodrigues added.
