Legendary Australian cricketer Ian Chappell believes that the England cricket team has quality-paced bowling and a consistent batting top-order. However, Chappell reckoned that India would start as favorites in the upcoming Test series against England. The Indian cricket team will enter the four-match series riding high on confidence after their stunning Border-Gavaskar series win against Australia. Team India will now be strengthened as their premiere players have returned to the squad. Indian captain Virat Kohli will be seen leading the side against England.

But Chappell still believes they fall short compared to England's pace trio of Anderson, Broad, and Archer.
