On 13 November 2022, Pakistan lost the 20-20 World Cup final against England at the MCG. Both teams came to the final after winning their respective semi-finals against the Kiwis and India respectively. But, Babar Azam and his men failed to win the trophy this year as England won the match by five wickets.

After the loss, both Pakistan fans and former players criticized the performance of the Men in Green. Now, a former Pakistan player, Zulqarnain Haider came up with an angry rant over Pakistan’s players’ performances in the final. He also raised some questions regarding their Islamic culture. Fans found the video shocking as the video has gone viral.

Babar Azam failed to guide Pakistan to 20-20 World Cup Glory this year

Speaking of the video, the former Pakistan player, Zulqarnain Haider blasted all Pakistani players by saying that they did not read the ‘Namaz’ properly. That’s why it did not help them to win the final. He put an allegation on them that they only do ‘Namaz’ for the cameras. On the other hand, Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid were part of the England side.

Haider claimed that they managed to win as they are better ‘Musalman’ than all Pakistani players. They don’t even read ‘Namaz’ in front of cameras. He even said that Pakistan qualified for the final with a help of luck. Hearing such bold statements, Fans were not happy as they become shocked.

Speaking of the final, England won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first. The Men in Green scored 137 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Only Shan Masood and skipper Babar Azam crossed the 30-run mark. Adil Rashid took two wickets for 22 runs in his four overs. With the bat, Moeen Ali scored 19 runs off 13 balls, including three fours. England chased down the target in 19 overs. Sam Curran won the player of the match award. He took three wickets for 12 runs in his four overs.
